This project focuses on simulating the behavior of heavy quarks in quantum chromodynamics, particularly in the context of charm and bottom meson systems. It aims to enhance understanding of weak interactions and contribute to the search for new physics.
This proposal plans to develop simulations of heavy quark phenomenology in2+1f QCD with the vacuum effects of up, down and strange quarks simulated directlyat physical quark masses.
Heavy quarks in the region of the physical charm quark mass will beincluded in the valence approximation, and for a number of masses, which whencombined with extrapolations making use of heavy quark symmetry will facilitatethe prediction of the phenomenology and weak interactions of charm and bottom meson systems.All…
