The HealthyMom project investigates the impact of pregnancy loss on women's mental health and brain changes. By using advanced brain imaging and genetic analysis, it aims to understand how these experiences affect maternal brain dynamics and identify factors that influence mental health during this vulnerable period.
Pregnancy loss oftentimes yields extensive negative consequences on the mental health of the affected women and their families, yet it is a largely neglected factor in global health.
