The HE-ART project focuses on developing a hybrid electric thermal turboprop engine for regional aircraft to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. By integrating advanced technologies, it aims to demonstrate the feasibility of hybrid propulsion systems, thus enhancing the sustainability of regional air travel.
Air travel is an important supplement to other means of regional transportation and in some regions the only viable solution.
