HaemMetabolism investigates the metabolic regulation in blood cancers by integrating multi-omics data and computational modeling. The project aims to identify metabolic pathways and potential drug targets through extensive screening and validation in patient samples.
It has long been realised that metabolism is central to cellular development, proliferation and homeostasis.
Collectively, aberrations in metabolism are now recognised as a major hallmark of cancer, opening new avenues for personalised medicine.
As haematological malignancies are multi-factorial diseases, our main emphasis will be on the integration of biomedical multi-omics data and computational systems modelling with the ultimate aim to understand metabolic regulation in haematological cancer…
