This project aims to integrate groundwater considerations into Life Cycle Assessment by combining hydrogeological expertise with LCA methodologies. It focuses on developing models to evaluate groundwater quality and quantity impacts, addressing a significant gap in environmental assessments.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is the standardised method for assessing the environmental impacts of any product or service.
After quantifying all associated emissions and the consumption of resources, this impact is expressed with respect to a few common impact categories.
