GuardAgents focuses on developing biopesticides to combat the Cucumber Mosaic Virus, a significant threat to crops. By creating small antibodies known as nanobodies, the project aims to enhance plant immunity and reduce reliance on chemical pesticides, promoting sustainable agriculture.
The use of pesticides on crops presents a significant risk of consumer exposure to harmful chemical residues, underscoring the need to explore safer alternatives for both humans and plants.
