This project explores strongly coupled quantum matter using gravitational techniques derived from string theory. It aims to understand the phase structure of quantum field theories and their implications in condensed matter physics, particularly focusing on superconductors and non-Fermi liquids.
States of matter in which the interactions between the microscopic constituents are both strong and quantum mechanical lie at the frontier of our understanding of nature.
