This project aims to develop a compact solid-state free electron laser using graphene's unique properties. By creating a new type of laser that operates across a wide range of wavelengths, the project seeks to revolutionize laser technology and enhance the efficiency of coherent radiation generation.
The aim of this project is to demonstrate an entirely new type of compact laser source by exploiting the unique properties of graphene to realise a solid-state free electron laser.
