The GLYMCE project investigates how carbohydrates, particularly glycosaminoglycans, interact with pathogens to cause infections. By creating biomimetic materials that mimic these carbohydrates, the project aims to develop new strategies for detecting and preventing infections.
Objective:
The aim of GLYMCE is to understand how carbohydrates and their assemblies are recognized by pathogens to drive infections.
