GLORIOUS studies online networks of contemporary Russian poets, connecting poets, scholars, and translators. It aims to introduce new voices to English-speaking audiences and bridge the gap between literary scholarship and translation through a dedicated website.
GLORIOUS is an interdisciplinary study of online networks created by contemporary Russian poets that brings together poets, scholars and translators.
The project will offer the first theoretical conceptualisation of such networks, introduce the most exciting new voices to an Anglophone audience through translation and narrow the distance between literary scholarship and translation practice with the help of a bespoke website.
