This project investigates the genetic and epigenetic factors contributing to Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). By analyzing familial cases and DNA methylation patterns, it aims to uncover novel genetic causes and their impact on insulin secretion.
Failure to elucidate Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) physiology frustrates efforts to improve therapeutics.
