The project focuses on advancing technologies for large passenger aircraft, including innovative wing designs and hybrid electric propulsion systems. It aims to validate these technologies through scaled flight testing and contribute to eco-design assessments for improved aircraft performance.
Main objective for the Clean Sky 2 Large Passenger Aircraft Programme (LPA) is to further mature and validate key technologiessuch as advanced wings and empennages design, making use of hybrid laminar airflow wing developments, the integration of most advanced engines into the large passenger aicraft aircraft design as well as an all-new next generation fuselage cabin and cockpit-navigation.
