This project investigates the evolutionary history of ectoparasites affecting the endemic mockingbirds of the Galapagos Islands. By analyzing genetic data from over 3000 samples, it aims to understand the relationship between host diversification and parasite genetic differentiation.
Evolutionary radiations of colonists on archipelagos provide valuable insight into the mechanisms and modes of speciation.
