ADDAX Biosciences aims to replace formaldehyde with a non-toxic alternative for tissue fixation in pathology. The project focuses on developing a new reagent based on acid-free Glyoxal to ensure optimal tissue preservation without carcinogenic risks.
ADDAX Biosciences is an academic spin-off of the University of Torino, born after long time research activity of its founders on the pathological tissues.
