FutureMARES seeks to develop nature-based solutions for marine ecosystems to combat climate change impacts. The project focuses on understanding ecological interactions and creating sustainable harvesting practices to protect biodiversity and ecosystem services.
Marine and transitional ecosystems provide fundamental climate regulation, food provisioning and cultural services.
