This fellowship aims to develop a rapid, home-based test for viral RNA detection using advanced biosensor technology. The project seeks to create a multiplexed lateral flow assay that can detect multiple respiratory viruses simultaneously without complex sample preparation.
In this fellowship, I will leverage recent advances in membrane-fusion-based biosensor technologies to develop an extraction-free, multiplexed lateral flow assay (LFA) for rapid, home-based viral RNA detection.
