This project aims to develop new battery technologies beyond lithium-ion, focusing on solid-state polymer electrolytes. It explores alternative polymer materials to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability for future energy storage solutions, particularly for electric vehicles.
Besides the need for large-scale implementation of renewable energy sources, there is an equivalent need for new energy storage solutions.
This is not least true for the transport sector, where electric vehicles are expanding rapidly.
