This project investigates the connectivity and functions of inhibitory microcircuits in the olfactory cortex of zebrafish. By combining tracing techniques and imaging, it aims to reveal how different interneurons contribute to sensory processing.
Interneurons in olfactory cortex, central importance for the function of cortical circuits, comprise a wide range of different cell types that may be involved in different microcircuits and computations.
