This project focuses on the role of cholangiocytes, the cells lining the bile ducts, in chronic liver diseases. It aims to uncover the mechanisms of cholangiocyte activation and transformation, which could lead to new therapies for conditions like Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.
