The FROST project investigates human adaptation to climate changes during the Late Glacial period in Western Europe. By analyzing archaeological and environmental data, it aims to understand how prehistoric populations responded to severe climatic fluctuations and their impact on mobility and subsistence strategies.
The Late Glacial period, at the end of the Pleistocene, is marked by dynamic climatic and environmental changes.
