The FRICON programme promotes international mobility for early-career researchers, allowing them to conduct research abroad and return to Norway. It aims to enhance career development through co-funding and support for research fellowships.
The FRICON programme will focus on outgoing mobility with a return phase.
It will be a separate programme for mobility and career development under the umbrella of the national scheme for free basic research, FRIPRO (abbreviation for Free Programmes), and managed by the Research Council of Norway (RCN).
