This project develops a decision support system called FreshProof to enhance food safety and reduce waste in the supply chain. By utilizing multi-sensor technology, it aims to predict shelf-life and nutritional value of food products in real-time.
The project proposes an innovative systems approach to address existing food supply chain waste and shortcomings in food safety, integrity and traceability.
