This project develops innovative methods to detect enzyme activity, particularly for plasmin and lactase, which are crucial in the dairy industry. It employs advanced ultrasonic and electrochemical techniques to create new analytical tools for monitoring lactose levels in milk and dairy products.
The proposal is focused on the development of novel methods of detection of activity of enzymes, such as plasmin and lactase, important for milk industry and for lactose-free diet.
Six experienced academic/research institutions, two SMEs, one governmental business company and one manufacturing company from 3 EU member states (Slovakia, Hungary, Ireland), USA and Canada will be involved in the research, development and validation.
