The FORA project trains researchers to bridge the gap between Operational and Information Technologies in the context of Industry 4.0. It focuses on Fog Computing to enhance real-time applications in manufacturing and automation, promoting interdisciplinary skills across various technical fields.
We are at the beginning of a new industrial revolution (Industry 4.0): disruptive technologies such as cyber-physical systems, machine-to-machine communication, Big Data and machine learning, and human-robot collaboration will transform the manufacturing and industrial automation sectors.
