FoodMAPP seeks to transform food supply systems by promoting local food provision from small-scale producers directly to consumers. The project will create a platform to enhance transparency and understanding of market demands for localized food.
Interconnected challenges of climate change, food supply resilience, food miles, food waste and supporting the next generation of producers and operators with a fair income are all highlighted in the EU Strategic Plan.
