The project aims to create a framework for analyzing the Water-Energy-Food nexus in the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers Basin. It focuses on socio-environmental issues, climate change, and stakeholder engagement to develop scenarios and governance strategies that mitigate risks and inequalities in the region.
This proposal responds to the need for a comprehensive framework to analyze the Water-Energy-Food (WEF) nexus and its impacts on socio-environmental issues.
The framework will address such complex issues in the transboundary region of the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers Basin (ETRB), with a focus on climate change, migration, and gender vulnerabilities.
