The project aims to improve interoperability in air traffic management by demonstrating the Flight Object concept across various air traffic control centers. This initiative seeks to enhance flight coordination and situational awareness, ultimately supporting better demand and capacity management in European airspace.
One essential goal of the Single European Sky is to improve the Interoperability of the Air Traffic Management (ATM) network.
The SESAR approach towards this goal is the introduction of a 4D-trajectory, which is common across all ATM stakeholders, called Reference Business Trajectory (RBT).
