FLEXGRID aims to create a smart grid architecture that effectively manages electricity markets and integrates renewable energy sources. It focuses on developing advanced models and tools to ensure stable and cost-effective electricity supply while promoting flexibility in energy management.
Future smart grids require the effective interaction between energy markets and electricity grid management systems in order to introduce new services and mitigate risks introduced by high RES penetration.
