This project aims to enhance the combustion of hydrogen in gas turbines, achieving high performance and efficiency without using diluents. By developing a new combustion technology, it seeks to enable the use of hydrogen as a primary fuel in modern gas turbines, contributing to cleaner energy generation.
The project aims at moving technological frontiers for low-emission combustion of hydrogen to fuel modern gas turbines at high firing temperatures and pressures, beyond the latest state-of-the-art.
This will be achieved whilst maintaining high engine performance, efficiency, fuel and load flexibility, without diluents.
