This project focuses on developing a novel method for synthesizing enantioenriched organic compounds using organic photochemical transformations combined with catalytic processes. It aims to create efficient synthetic pathways for valuable compounds, including a total synthesis of Tamiflu.
The stereoselective preparation of enantioenriched organic compounds of high structural complexity and synthetic value, in an economically viable and expeditious manner, is one of the most important goals in contemporary Organic Synthesis.
