This project aims to strengthen cooperation between Tallinn and Helsinki by establishing a Smart City Centre of Excellence. The initiative will integrate scientific knowledge and innovation to develop urban solutions, enhancing public services and fostering cross-border collaboration in technology.
There is a clear political and business interest in strengthening the cooperation between the cities of Tallinn and Helsinki, and Estonia and Finland respectively, in terms of research, innovation and economic development (Twin cities mindset).
