This project examines the increasing demand for female genital plastic surgeries in Belgium and the Netherlands. It aims to develop a decision-making tool for women and guidelines for healthcare professionals to address these requests responsibly and sensitively.
This project investigates why girls and women in Belgium and the Netherlands (increasingly) seek female genital plastic surgeries (FGPS) and how healthcare practitioners handle requests for these surgeries.
