This project aims to enhance understanding of brain tumors by applying functional genomics and synthetic lethality screenings in mouse models of Glioma. The goal is to identify prognostic factors and potential drug targets for more effective brain cancer treatments.
There is a limited understanding of critical oncogenes and oncosuppressors of human brain tumors, which are often lethal within monthly frames.
In order to better understand brain tumor homeostasis, we aim to apply unbiased functional genomics and synthetic lethality screenings to a mouse models of Glioma, and to validate such screenings using human Glioma cell lines.
