Fertissimo aims to enhance in vitro fertilization (IVF) success rates by using a novel biomarker to identify viable embryos more accurately. This non-invasive method assesses oxidative stress in embryo culture media, allowing for improved single embryo transfers and reducing the need for multiple transfers.
Low rates of pregnancy in IVF procedure is due to being unable to identify viable embryos for transfer.
As a result, multiple embryo transfer (MET) is practiced to increase the chances of pregnancy.
