This project investigates how fluid overpressure affects earthquake slip along faults through controlled laboratory experiments. By analyzing friction parameters and slip stability, it aims to enhance understanding of both natural and induced seismicity, with applications in geology and energy industries.
Fluid overpressure has been proposed as one of the primary mechanisms that facilitate earthquake slip along tectonic faults.
