This project seeks to establish a new computational framework for analyzing structured data sets, such as geometric shapes and networks. By treating data as functional spaces, it aims to enhance the understanding of variability and relationships among objects, with potential applications in medical imaging.
We propose to lay the theoretical foundations and design efficient computational methods for analyzing, quantifying and exploring relations and variability in structured data sets, such as collections of geometric shapes, point clouds, and large networks or graphs, among others.
