XVR011 is a novel therapeutic candidate designed to neutralize SARS-CoV-2 using a unique nanobody-Fc fusion technology. Developed from llama-derived antibodies, it effectively blocks viral entry and replication, enhancing the immune response during critical phases of COVID-19 infection.
XVR011, ExeVir's clinical lead candidate has emerged from scientific research from labs of highly regarded virologist Xavier Saelens and biochemist Nico Callewaert.
