Excel4Pro focuses on developing plant protein-based food products to address dietary needs and environmental concerns. The project aims to enhance the capacity of regional hubs in Türkiye, Greece, and Ukraine to innovate in plant-based food economies.
Three key global drivers underpin the increased interest in plant protein-based diets: population-growth, important role of proteins in a healthy diet, and the environmental impact of animal-based food chains.
