This project investigates the dynamics of RNA splicing to understand how different regions of genes are regulated during evolution. By utilizing advanced RNA sequencing techniques and machine learning, it aims to identify how splicing pressures influence genetic variation and disease-related mutations.
The need to preserve correct splicing is a major source of constraint on sequence evolution.
