This project investigates the genetic mechanisms driving phenotypic diversity in mammals by studying transcription factor binding in mouse species. It aims to understand how genetic variations affect gene regulation and expression, using advanced experimental techniques to explore evolutionary processes.
The genetic differences found in gene regulatory regions are the largest contributing factor to the diversity of phenotypes within and between mammalian species.
