This project focuses on enhancing evolutionary game theory to better model complex biological interactions in animal and human populations. It aims to train researchers in mathematical modeling, biology, and data analysis to address real-world ecological and medical challenges.
Evolutionary game theory (EGT) was developed to model biological populations, and the early models had great success in explaining apparently paradoxical biological behaviour.
Animal and human populations are complex, however, involving important factors such as social relationships, space and time.
