This project investigates how cognitive abilities evolve through natural selection by studying pheasants. It examines the relationship between cognitive performance, natural behaviors, and fitness, while manipulating environmental factors to understand their impact on cognitive traits and inheritance.
I aim to determine how cognitive abilities evolve under natural selection; one of the most important, yet poorly understood issues in modern biology.
