This project aims to implement evidence-based screening programs for vision and hearing disorders in children across low- and middle-income countries. By utilizing data from existing programs in Europe, it seeks to optimize screening strategies and improve child healthcare outcomes.
Screening for vision and hearing disorders in children has shown to be highly effective. EU-directive 16620/11 invites EU-member states to give priority to such screening programmes.
