The proposed project aims to improve the predictive abilities and practical applicability and to extend the modeling framework of the Stand Density Management Diagrams (SDMD).
The established SDMD for Scots pine plantations in Bulgaria will be re-evaluated employing methodological improvements, a disaggregation system for stand structure characterization will be developed and verification of the newly elaborated compound model will be performed.
