EIMID-ITN trains ten early-stage researchers in the biology of infectious diseases, focusing on host-pathogen interactions. The project addresses invasive bacterial infections, diarrheal diseases, and HIV replication through collaborative research and comprehensive training across top European research organizations.
The overall objective of EIMID-ITN is to train ten early stage researchers to join the next generation of world experts in the biology of infectious diseases and specifically in the mechanisms of host-pathogen interaction.
