The EuroFAANG project seeks to create a collaborative infrastructure for genotype to phenotype research in farmed animals. It aims to improve the understanding of complex traits and enhance access to resources and expertise across Europe for better animal breeding and health.
This proposal describes concept development and conceptualisation of a EuroFAANG (European Functional Annotation of ANimal Genomes) infrastructure to realise the full potential of genotype to phenotype (G2P) research across species, breeds and populations of farmed animal species in Europe.
