EuroAgeism addresses ageism by harmonizing various disciplines to improve the quality of life for older adults. The project aims to foster dialogue between science and policy, enhancing older adults' participation in society and access to services.
Europe has the largest percentage of older adults worldwide.
Yet, there is a high prevalence of ageism; the complex and often negative construction of old age, in society at large, and among researchers and practitioners in particular.
