OneArgo aims to enhance global ocean monitoring by improving the International Argo Programme. It focuses on advancing climate change research and providing accurate ocean data to support climate adaptation and mitigation efforts.
OneArgo is the new global, full-depth and multidisciplinary design of the International Argo Programme, the most prominent global in situ ocean observing network.
OneArgo will advance climate change and ocean health research capabilities.
Furthermore, by allowing more complete and accurate ocean and climate projections, OneArgo will strengthen the potential of operational users to deliver services for the monitoring, adaptation and mitigation of climate change, including at policy level.
