This research investigates judicial training reforms in South-East Europe and their impact on national judicial cultures. The goal is to understand how these reforms affect judges' participation in European legal discussions and improve judicial cooperation.
This proposal aims at exploring the judicial training reforms adopted in South-East Europe (SEE) in the framework of the pre-accession conditionality and at shedding light on the relationship between judicial training and judicial culture.
The purpose is to explore whether such reforms influence national judicial cultures in the sense of the ability of judges to participate in the “European constitutional discourse”.
