This project uses advanced technologies to explore genetic factors contributing to common diseases by studying gene networks in rats. It aims to uncover molecular pathways related to inflammatory, cardiovascular, and behavioral disorders.
Genetic studies in model organisms and humans, including human genome-wide association studies, have pinpointed genomic regions that contribute susceptibility to common disease.
